Kathy Smith McGuire Whitlow, age 60 of Cordova, passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at UAB Hospital.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 20, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Sunday, May 21, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Grove Church of Christ. Terry Joe Whitlow will officiate.
Mrs. Whitlow was preceded in death by her Mother-Kathleen Smith; Father-James Carroll “JC” Smith; Brother-Donnie Smith; A host of Uncles and Aunts.
She is survived by her Husband-Ricky Lee Whitlow of Cordova; Daughter-Misty Kathleen Peeler of Cordova; Sons-James Harlan McGuire of Berry and Joseph Ray McGuire; Sister-Betty “Carol” Dawkins; Brother-Michael Smith; Grandchildren-Justin Peeler and Jeremy Peeler of Cordova, Bradley Blackwell of Oakman, Aaron Taylor and Leah Taylor of Berry; Great Grandchild-Zacharee Taylor of Jasper; Host of nieces and nephews.
