JoAnne Banks, age 75, of Jasper, passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Brookwood Medical Center.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at 7:30 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel, with burial at Bennett Cemetery. John Gates will officiate.
Mrs. Banks was preceded in death by her Father-Joseph Michael Guarnery, Sr.; Mother-Grace Katherine Cornell Guarnery; Brother-Joseph Michael Guarnery, Jr.
She is survived by her Husband-Reginald Banks; Daughter-Sherri Perkins; Sons-Terry Wayne Banks, Jerry Ray Banks, Doyle Banks and James Michael Banks; Sister-Arlene McDowell; 15 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren.

I am so sorry to hear about your mom, grandma and friend. Even though I only had the opportunity to visit a few times her hospitality and smile always made me feel like family. I am praying for God’s loving arms to be around you Sherry as you remember all her love that she showed you and your family. Tim, Kasie, and Kaitlin I know grandma Banks loved you to the moon and back, may the Lord etch the memories you have of her into your hearts to share with your children so her legacy last forever.
