Mr. Fred Dan Bailey, age 77, of Decatur, died Saturday, February 11, 2017. Graveside Service will be Tuesday, February 14, 2017, 3:00 p.m. at Huntsville Memory Gardens, with Gregg Cain officiating. Visitation will be 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home.
Mr. Bailey was born September 15, 1939 to Shelby Eugene Bailey and Nola Lee Jackson Bailey. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother Eugene Bailey; two sisters Sue Bailey Glenn and Martha Lee Bailey Hoffert.
Mr. Bailey survived by his wife Glenda Bailey; one son Billy Jackson (Amanda) of Huntsville, AL; four daughters Rhonda Bailey (Larry) of Owens Cross Roads, Wanda Stephens (Jeffrey) of Georgia, Patricia New (James) and Sara Pate (Stephen) both of Decatur; two brothers Dwight Bailey and George Bailey both of New Hope; one sister Linda Ryczek of Wisconsin; seven grandchildren Brandon Green, Mashaila Green, Megan Green, Aliyah Prater, Michael Clark, Hope Clark and Christina Morgan; four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers: Billy Jackson, Brandon Green, Stephen Pate, James New, Coy Bailey, Michael Clark and Larry Bailey.
