Raymond James McCoy Jr., 71, of Arab, died Monday January 30, 2017 at his residence.
Mr. McCoy was born February 13, 1945 in Walker County to Raymond James McCoy Sr. and Lora Vaughn McCoy. He worked for Osborne Trucking Company as a driver until his retirement. He served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War. His wife Sharon Mouser McCoy preceded him in death on February 6, 2016. Mr. McCoy had lived in Arab for 4 years moving here from Gadsden.
He is survived by his children and in-laws: William and Stacy McCoy, Randall and Connie McCoy, Robert McCoy, Maria Mercer, Sheryle McCoy and Angela McCoy; a brother and sister-in-law: Chris and Diane McCoy and a sister Annie McCoy; fourteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Family elected cremation, no service is planned at this time, Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, assisting.
