Regina C. Sides, age 68 of Empire, passed away Tuesday January 31, 2017 at her residence. She was a homemaker and a member of Owens Chapel Church of God.
Funeral service will be Friday February 3, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the New Horizon Memorial chapel. Rev. T.J. Millican will officiate. Burial will follow at New Horizon Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 12:30 pm until 2:00 pm Friday in the chapel.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jimmie C. Sides; parents, T.B. and Joyce Capps; grandparents, Johnnie B. and Grace Capps; sister, Julia Barrett; brother, Nicky Capps and her best friend, Andea Jean Key.
Survivors include her children, Jenifer Holley (Michael), Jessica Higginbotham (Shane) and Jason Sides; grandchildren, John Holley (Ashton), Colleen Sides, Samantha Holley and Lily Higginbotham; great-grandchildren, Jayden and Alayna Holley; sister, Anita Mauldin (Sammy); brother, Larry Capps (Penny); several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
