Carliss Oates Carroll, 78, died Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2012. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at Thompson and Son Funeral Home, Florence. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church, Florence, with burial in Nazareth Cemetery, Barton. The body will be placed in the church one hour before services.
