Funeral service for Carol Jane McBay Wright of Priceville, will be Tuesday Jan. 10, 2017 at 3 p.m. at Shoal Creek Baptist Church with Brother Gary Linville officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 1 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. at the church.
Mrs. Wright died Jan. 7, 2017 at her residence. She was born July 9, 1945 in Morgan County to Frazier Emerson and Lois Inez Vassar McBay. Mrs. Wright retired from the Arc of Morgan County and is a member of Shoal Creek Baptist Church. Mrs. Wright was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include husband, Harold Wayne Wright Sr.; son, Harold Wayne Wright Jr., Cullman; daughter, Selena Wright, Priceville; one brother, Esco McBay, Nashville; one sister, Kathy Buchanan, Ardmore; three grandchildren, Harold Wayne Wright III, Jamie McGill, Jessie Wright; and great-grandchild, Syla McGee.
Serving as pallbearers will be Wayne Wright III, Wesley Baker, Drew Robertson, Jay Chenault, Jared Wray, and Adam McDaniel.
