Kenneth Ray Hinkle age 69 of Athens, passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at Huntsville Hospital. Mr. Hinkle was born June 16, 1947 in Limestone County, AL to Samuel Hinkle and Neva Moody Hinkle.
Services will be Saturday, December 10, 2016 2:00 p.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with James Hinkle officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Preceded in death by his parents Samuel and Neva Hinkle; one daughter, Cyndra Hinkle; four brothers, Eugene Hinkle, Stanley Hinkle, Johnny Hinkle and Larry Hinkle.
Survived by four sons, Brian Hinkle and wife, Callie, Channing Hinkle and wife, Marla, Deon Hinkle and K.R. Hinkle, Jr.; one daughter, Athena Hinkle; eight grandchildren, Rhett Hinkle, Heather Hinkle, Parker Hinkle, Allie Hinkle, Anthony Hinkle, Nicole Hinkle, Ivy Cutlip Hinkle, and Coty Cutlip Hinkle; two step-grandchildren, Collin Gooch and Whitt Gooch; four brothers, Hollis Hinkle, James Hinkle, Ben Hinkle and Dwight Hinkle; one sister, Ruby Hall.
