Walter J. Kotylo, 96, passed away Thursday afternoon, Nov. 10, 2016, at home, surrounded by family. He was a U.S. Army World War II veteran. He retired as a Design Engineer from General Motors in Michigan in 1980, and retired to Alabama in 1988.
Walter was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian (Urban) Kotylo. He is survived by his four children, Carol Wren, Mark Kotylo, Robert Kotylo and Colleen Martin; eight grandchildren, William Martin, Richard Martin, Heather, Michael and Bradley Kotylo, Kate, Lauren and Eric Kotylo; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, Nov. 14, 2016, from 10 to 11 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass at 11 a.m. at St. Benedict Traditional Catholic Church, 1139 Hwy 231, Laceys Spring, AL 35754.
