MUSCLE SHOALS – Placed on suspension by the Sheffield School Board yesterday after a female student and here parents made a complaint to Police, the man – as yet unidentified – was found dead in his his home this morning. He apparently killed himself.

This information has come to the Quad-Cities Daily by an unimpeachable, yet unnamed source.
This case started yesterday at the Sheffield Police Department. It ended this morning, when the teacher’s body was discovered at about 6-o’clock in Muscle Shoals where he lived with his family.
Coroner Carlton Utley has not released any information from his investigation. However, sources say the man was Jared Mothershed one of the High School’s coaches. He graduated in 2007 from Deshler High School.
