Funeral for Evelyn Florene Terry Yarbrough, 74, of Decatur will be Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2016, at 2 p.m. Parkway Funeral Home with Reverend Roger Loosier officiating. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Yarbrough died on Friday, Sept. 30, 2016, at UAB. She was born Nov. 17, 1941, to Oley Terry and Florene King Terry. She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening and cooking. Her parents preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband, Carlton Yarbrough; two sons, Eugene (Katherine) Yarbrough and Jeremy (Danielle) Yarbrough; two daughters, Carlene (Ray) Askew and Sonja (David) Manthey; brother, Preston Terry; two sisters, Othella Parker and Elnora Franks; 10 grandchildren, Anna, Addison, Taylor, Harrison, Ian, Quinton, Larryn, Logan, Connor and Peyton; and two great-grandchildren, Hudson and Henry.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
