John William Robison, 80 of Joppa, Alabama, the Hulaco Community, died Friday September 9, 2016 at his daughters residence.
Mr. Robison was born February 8, 1936 in Ridgely, Tennessee to Joseph William Robison and Bertha Glascock Robison. He served in the U.S. Army and worked in security at Redstone Arsenal until his retirement. He was a Mason, Scottish Rites and a Cahaba Shriner. His wife Carol Ann Pukael Robison preceded him in death on April 27, 2015.
He was a member of Ryan Baptist Church.
Mr. Robison is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law: John A. and Victoria Robison and William J. Robison; two daughters and son-in-law: Joanne and Douglas Bradford and Margaret Robison; grandchildren: Michael, Kevin, Dalton, Kayla, Brandon, Cody, Noah and Colton; great grandchildren: Anna Belle and Andrew. He was preceded in death by his parents: Joseph and Bertha Robison and his wife Carol Ann Pukael Robison.
Memorial service will be 12:00 p.m. Saturday September 17, 2016 at Ryan Baptist Church with Brother: Terry Hudson officiating. The family elected cremation with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel assisting.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations to Cahaba Shriners Children’s Hospital.
