Patricia Jeanette Moccabee, 81 of Arab, formerly the Baileyton, Welcome Home Community, died Saturday September 10, 2016 in Huntsville Hospital.
Mrs. Moccabee was born March 11, 1935 in Columbus Ohio to Patrick Francis Morgan and Marie Helen Nance Morgan. She was a homemaker and enjoyed reading, crocheting, traveling, spending time with friends and family and playing the organ. She was a member of the Amanda King Chapter # 472 Eastern Stars in Arab and served as the 2009-2010 Worthy Matron. Her husband, Jack Joseph Moccabee of 40 years preceded her in death on August 29, 1995.
She is survived by her sons: Jack J. Moccabee Jr.; her daughter and son-in-law Patricia J. and Arthur Stark; grandchildren: Jill Hansel, A.J. and Jamie Stark and Brian Moccabee; great grandchildren: Philip Hansel IV, Gabriel Hansel and Nicholas Hansel. She was preceded in death by her parents: Patrick and Marie Morgan; her husband of 40 years Jack Joseph Moccabee Sr.; a daughter Marie Moccabee; and a brother: Dennis Morgan.
Grave side service will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday September 13, 2016 at Arab Memorial Cemetery. Arab Heritage Memorial chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will be Art Stark, A.J. Stark, DeWayne LaRue and Mike Williams. Honorary pallbearers: Jim Pickett and Brian Moccabee.
