Laurah Jeanne Robins
(January 31, 1931 – August 15, 2016)
Miss Jeanne Robins was forever reunited with her beloved husband, John Allen, on Monday morning, August 15th, 2016 in that special place they called Beulah Land. She was born in Gadsden, Alabama to Harl Clifford and Laurah Haywood Duffey. She was a homemaker and Spiritual Caretaker. She was preceded in death by her husband John Allen Robins and parents Harl Clifford and Laurah Haywood Duffey. Miss Jeanne is survived by her sons Tom Robins (Ann), David Robins (Kathleen) and Scott Robins (Jackie), daughter Beth Williams, grandchildren Katie Sykes, Jesse Williams, John Robins, Joshua Williams, Lauren Leonard, Justin Williams, Cliff Robins, Jacob Robins, Elizabeth Robins, David Allen Robins, Cohen Robins, Eli Robins and Vinny Robbins and Five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters Harriett Blair and Eunice Yancey and many beloved nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held Thursday, August 18, 2016 at Monte Sano United Methodist Church from 3:00 to 4:30 pm. A Celebration of Life will follow at 4:30 with Rev. Tom Robins and Rev. John Mullaney officiating. A graveside service will be held at Hampton Cove memory Gardens following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Monte Sano United Methodist Church.
