Jerry “Hammer” Gilliam age 62 of Graysville, passed away Friday July 29, 2016. He was retired from the City of Graysville as well as Busby Trucking Co. He was a member of Dora Church of God.
Funeral services will be Monday August 1, 2016 at 2:00 pm in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Rev. Lewis Smith and Larry Neal will officiate. Burial will follow at Midway Cemetery in Adamsville. Visitation is Sunday night 5-8 pm at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, J.T. and Kitty Gilliam; and his sister, Billie Mealer.
Survivors include his wife Elweeda “Kit” Gilliam; brother, Charles Gilliam and wife Robin; sisters, Faye Busby and husband Jimmy, Vicki Gilliam and Judy Glover and husband Tim; several nieces, nephews and many friends.
