Funeral for Mary Christine Murphy, 58, of Moulton will be today, July 28, 2016, at 2 p.m. at Harmony Baptist Church with Rev. Barry Cater, Rev. Wendell Bennett and Rev. Brian Gramling officiating and Parkway Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. at the church.
Mrs. Murphy, who died Tuesday, July 26, 2016, at NHC Healthcare, was born Friday, June 27, 1958, to Elder Morgan and Jessie Glyn Prince Morgan. She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church. She enjoyed crocheting, cross stitch and word find puzzles. She was preceded in death by her partents and two brothers, Ronald Morgan and Donald Morgan.
Survivors include daughter, Jessica Murphy; brother, Charles (Wanda) Morgan; three sisters, Lillie (Joe) Sherrill, Margaret (Joe) Horton and Marlo (Tim) Sparkman; and one grandchild, Briella Stover.
Pallbearers will be Josh Horton, Justin Horton, John Helms, Trey Morgan, Tim Sparkman and Tim Vanderploeg.
Honorary pallbearers will be Brodie Horton and Joe Horton.
