Funeral services for Ms. Marie Chalk age 87, are scheduled for 2:00 pm, Monday July 25, 2016 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home Scotts Hill, with burial to follow in Corinth Methodist Cemetery. Ms. Chalk was born May 6, 1929 in Decatur Co. Tn. to the late Voyd and Ruth Creasy Montgomery. Ms. Chalk was member of Sardis Methodist Church and enjoyed her yard, taking care of her family and gospel music. She was preceded in death by her husband Buford R. Chalk, 1 sister- Martha Lou Bawcum and 1 brother-Hollis Montgomery; Survivors include 2 sons- Lynn Chalk (Ann) and Randy Chalk (Jan), 2 brothers- Robert Montgomery and Roy D. Montgomery. 4 sisters- Betty Sue Bingham, Bobby Nell Moore, Ann Halkiades and Norma Oliver. 5- grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
