William “Bill” Darby Adams age 88 of Athens formally of Sebring, FL, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at his residence. Mr. Adams was born July 16, 1927 in Limestone County, AL to J.W. Adams and Mary Holland Adams.
Burial will be in Florida National Cemetery. Limestone Chapel Funeral Home handling arrangements.
Mr. Adams was of the Baptist faith. He was a United States Army Veteran of World War II.
Survived by his wife, Bettie Adams of Athens; one daughter, Brenda Gayle Jones of Plant City, FL; one son, William Gregory Adams and wife, Debbie of Tampa, FL; 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Floyd Adams and wife, Charlotte of Elkmont and Lloyd Adams and wife, Inga of OR.
