Donnie Gay Goodman, 62 of Ardmore, Alabama died on Tuesday, June 28, 2016, at her home.
Born Wednesday, April 21, 1954 in Hot Springs, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late George Jefferson Cagle and the late Cansade Virgina Phelps Cagle. She was a member of Cowboy Church of Limestone County. She loved her grandkids and drag racing. She was a member of the Ardmore Fire Department/ Rapid Responders for 33 years. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother: Bill Ray Baker.
Surviving are her husband: Dennis Goodman of Ardmore, AL, sons, Dennis (Dee) Goodman of Ardmore, AL and Lee Goodman of Hot Springs, AR, daughter, Tammy Strickland of Hot Springs, AR, sister, Gennie Lynne West of Ardmore, AL, and grandchildren: Dawson Russell Goodman, Savannah Michelle Goodman, both of Ardmore, AL, and Kearna Cheyenne Helton of Hot Springs, AR.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, July 1, 2016 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama with Bro. Steve Olney officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Thursday, June 30, 2016, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
