Jim Blair, 87, of Trinity, passed away on June 5, 2016. He was born Nov. 14, 1928. A celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday, June 8, at 10:30 a.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be this evening from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Bro. Richie Thompson and Bro. Steve Caudle are officiating.

Mr. Blair was a beloved husband and father and a member of Trinity Baptist Church for 48 years. He was a clock maker and a record “LP” collector. He retired from Monsanto.

He was preceded in death by his son, Joseph Mitchell Blair; parents, Lawrence Waldren Blair and Mary Alice Evans Blair.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Anna Lou Blair; children, Gretta Blair Wilhite(Gary), Jeff Blair(Deb), and Alice Rhodes(Edward); brothers, Richard Blair and Walter Blair; sister, Barbara Jane Conatser; grandchildren, Laura Blair, Amy Rhodes, Allen Blair, Anna Rhodes, and James Rhodes; great-grandchildren, Elijah Pullum, Isaiah Pullum, Josiah Pullum, Christian Hargrove, Ava Rhodes, Ivy Rhodes, Allie Marie Blair, and Ada Mae Blair.

Roselawn Funeral Home is assisting the family.
