lillieLillie Elizabeth Hannon, 82, of Iuka, MS, died Tuesday, May 31, 2016, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Iuka. Mrs. Hannon was a member of Spring Hill Methodist Church, where she served as president of the United Methodist Women for 25 years and treasurer of the Spring Hill Cemetery Fund since 1985. She retired from United Stationary in Oak Park, IL. She enjoyed traveling, sewing, crocheting, and helping others in need. Funeral services are scheduled for 12:00 noon, Wednesday, June 1, at Spring Hill Methodist Church, officiated by Rev. J. B. Burns. Interment will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers include Johnny McKee, Lonnie McKee, Randy Stringer, Greg Cornelius, Matthew McKee, and Sidney Whitehurst, Sr. Visitation is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. until service time at the church on Wednesday. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. She is survived by a brother, Deleanor McKee of Iuka; three sisters, Eleanor Stringer of Iuka, Nolie Cornelius of Cherokee, AL, and Judy Ables of Dennis; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Hannon; a son, David Hannon; her parents, Marshall and Myrtle McKee; a sister, Louise Weathers; a brother, Robert McKee; and a nephew, Stevie Cornelius.
