A Celebration of Life service for Barbara Chunn Ruffner, 82, of Decatur, will be held on Monday, May 23rd, at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. with Pastor Roger Jenkins officiating and Roselawn Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Monday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Ruffner, who passed away at Huntsville Hospital on Friday May 20th, was born Sept. 23, 1933 to Floyd and Ita Chunn in Townsend, Tennessee. She retired from Compass Bank and was a member of First Baptist Church in Decatur.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Ruffner; her parents; and sister, Martha Culbert.
She is survived by one daughter, Cynthia (Bruce) Kimbrell; brother, Floyd Chunn; sister, Mary (Kenneth) Anderson; granddaughter, Vicki (Adam) Webb; three great-grandchildren, Austen, Collin, and Addison Webb.
Pallbearers will be Bryan Anderson, Mike Kosier, Steve Ruffner, Doug Harper, Bob Cetera and Tony Gillespie.
