Doris Marona, 70, died Saturday, March 12, 2016, at Florence Nursing and Rehab Center.
Visitation will be Monday, March 14, 2016, from 5–7 p.m. at Rogersville Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Tuesday, March 15, 2016, at 2 p.m. with James Waddell officiating. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Daniel Brown, Ricky Richardson, Zack Hoffman, Alan Cole, Josh Cole and Junior Baker.
Mrs. Marona was preceded in death by her son, Thomas E. Marona, and brother, Brice Edd Jackson. She is survived by her husband, Thomas T. Marona; daughter, Tammy Marie Marona and Mike of Huntsville; grandchildren, Brittany Marie (Aaron) Lee, of Florence, Thomas Daniel (Brooke) Brown, of Rogersville and Jeremy Blake Marona, of Florence; great-grandchild, Ethan Lee; brother, James Edward Jackson, of South Carolina; sister, Margarate (Charles) Baker, of Rogersville; special friend, Violet Price; 17 nieces and nephews; 20 great-nieces and nephews and 10 great-great nieces and nephews.
