Helen Faye Wilson, age 64, passed away Thursday, Feb. 25, 2016. Visitation will be today from 6-8 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home, Florence. The funeral will be Sunday, Feb. 28, at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at Shoals Memorial Gardens.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Gene Wilson; parents, Edward and Louella Pounders; brothers, Bill and Eddie Pounders; sister-in-law, Juanita Pounders; father-in-law, Claude Wilson; mother-in-law, Gertie Hannah; and brothers-in-law, Paul and J.C. (Sandra) Wilson.
She is survived by her companion, Robert Howard; children, Jay (Margaret) Wilson and Thomas Bryan Wilson, Elizabeth (Eric) Hanback, Jerry (Pam) Howard, Chasity (Jeremy) Phillips, and Tonya Presley; stepdaughter, Mickie Wilson; sister, Joann (Wesley) Thomas; seven grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Howard, Jeremy Phillips, Dennis Wilson, Steve Wilson, Jason Bogus, and Tyson Noe.
The family would like to express appreciation to the Northwest Alabama Cancer Center, ECM Hospital, and Mitchell Hollingsworth Rehabilitation Center for their love and support.
