Three Arrested On Drug Charges

morgan countyLACEY SPRINGS-The Morgan County Sheriff’s Department made arrests of three suspects on charges of cooking meth on Wednesday, February 17:

“On Wednesday morning, Morgan County Sheriff’s Deputies went to 107 SE Simmons Rd. in Lacey Springs to serve an arrest warrant. Deputies made contact with Thomas Michael Curbow, 30, Linda Burnham, 56, and Billy Jack Dempsey, 34, all of Lacey Springs. Deputies observed a one-pot meth lab at the entrance to the residence. Deputies detained the subjects and called the Morgan County Drug Task Force. Agents arrived and obtained written consent to search the residence. Inside of the residence, agents discovered more than 10 one-pot meth labs and over 20 HCL gas generators. Agents also discovered fuel, lye, lithium batteries, empty cold medicine boxes, cold packs, and rubber tubing. Agents charged Curbow with Unlawful Manufacture of a Controlled Substance 1st and Unlawful Possession of Felony Drug Paraphernalia. Curbow’s bond was set at $252,500.00, per Judge Howell. Burnham was charged with Unlawful Manufacture of a Controlled Substance 1st, Unlawful Possession of Felony Drug Paraphernalia, and Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance. Burnham’s bond was set at 255,000.00. Dempsey was charged with Loitering in a Drug House. His bond was set at $300.00.
