Linda-Alexander-1455295744Ms. Linda Jo Alexander, age 68 of Bolivar, Tennessee, passed away Thursday night, February 11, 2016 at Pine Meadows Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

Ms. Alexander was born Tuesday, October 21, 1947 to the late Henry Barnett and Alice Neoma Evans Alexander. She lived all of her life in Hardeman County and worked for 26 years as a dietary aide at Western Mental Health Institute in Bolivar. She also worked for 8 years as a hairdresser. She was a member of the Selmer Primitive Baptist Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed watching television, listening to music, especially the band “Alabama”, and was a big Atlanta Braves fan.

She is survived by a host of cousins, Doug O’Neal, Angela Goodman, Anthony O’Neal, Mike Whitaker, Vivian Gibson, Nancy Cobb, Oliver Lee Young, Nedda Lou King, and Mildred West; and her special friend and caregiver, Deena Turner.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Alexander.
