Suspect Arrested …Charged With 17 Counts Of Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card

FLORENCE-The Florence Police Department made an arrest of a female suspect on charges of Theft of Property.  Detective Justin Wright released a statement on the arrest:

“Amanda Thomas allegedly befriended two different men between 12/12/15 and 12/16/15 in order to steal their debit cards. The first victim, a resident of Muscle Shoals, let her and a friend into his home based on mutual friendships with others. She stole his debit card and used it at least five times at various businesses. She was identified in surveillance video. The second victim, a resident of Florence, allowed her into his home due to mutual friendships as well. She stole his debit card and used it at least twelve times. She was also identified in surveillance video in this case. She was charged with 17 counts of Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card, Theft of Property 2nd, and Theft of Property 3rd.   Thomas was located and arrested by the United States Marshall’s Fugitive Task Force.”
