Charles Edmond Dryer III
ATLAS-Athens Police Chief Floyd Johnson released a statement on the arrest of a suspect wanted on Two Theft of Property Warrants:
“This afternoon Charles Edmond Dryer III turned himself in to the police department. Dryer was arrested on two thefts of property 2nd degree warrants.
Dryer is accused of taking a trailer between January 31, 2015 and February 1, 2016 from a residence on Ezell Street. He is also accused of taking a trailer between January 29, 2016 and February 2, 2016 from a residence on Lucasferry Road. Both trailers were recovered at a residence on Hawk Ridge in Elkmont on February 3, 2016.
Investigators are continuing their investigation into other trailers stolen in the same area over the past few weeks. Dryer was booked at the police department and transferred to the county jail. “
