Jimmie Sue Thigpen Barnes, 76, of Killen, AL, passed away February 3, 2016 after an extended illness. Mrs. Barnes was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God.

She was preceded in death by husband Buford C. Thigpen; daughter Susie Ann Sharp; father Jim Neal Brewer, Sr.; mother Thelma Brewer; brother Jerry Don Brewer; sisters Jean Lois Fisher and infant Jeannette Brewer.
Visitation will be Saturday, February 6, 2016 from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel with Darin Atkins and Alvin Thigpen officiating. Burial will be in Barnett Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Nick Thigpen, Keith Thigpen, Matt Thigpen, Brad Richardson, Josh Cottrell, and Dylan Hanback. Honorary pallbearer is Brandi Phillips.
