Mr. Johnson was a native of Lawrence County, TN and a Christian. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Loretto Memorial Chapel, Inc. Arnold Brown, Lester Robbins and Dustin Wilburn will be officiating. Burial will follow in Lindsey Grove Cemetery. Visitation will from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Friday, November 6, 2015 at Loretto memorial Chapel, Inc.
Preceded in death by:
Father – E.G. Johnson, a well known cattle dealer
Beloved Mother – Geneva Ross Shults Johnson
Survivors:
One sister – Lois Rochelle of Leoma, TN who has helped with his care.
Van considers his extended Family–The citizens of Lawrence County, who have prayed, cared, shown Van love and given tangible gifts since his football injury in 1970. These precious folks helped Van to never feel alone.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Lindsey Grove Cemetery Fund.
