SOMERVILLE-The Morgan County Deputies were sent on a Welfare Check to an address in Somerville on Sunday, November 1. Below is the statement regarding the findings of the Welfare Check:
“On Sunday evening, November 1, 2015, deputies were dispatched to a residence located at 1661 Bluff City Rd., in Somerville, in reference to a Welfare Check. Deputies made contact with Brittany Battles (w/f 23) and Anthony Curbow (w/m 37).
Brittany Battles advised that she believed she had been poisoned, using some bad Meth. Agents obtained a Search Warrant for the residence. Agents located 4-One Pot Meth labs, 2-HCL gas generators, along with chemicals and materials associated in the Manufacturing of Methamphetamine. Agents also located a liquid substance that tested positive for the presence of Methamphetamine, weighing approximately 4 fluid ounces.
Anthony Dewayne Curbow was arrested, charged with the Unlawful Manufacturing of Controlled Substance 1st Degree- Methamphetamine, Trafficking in Methamphetamine and Unlawful Possession of Felony Drug Paraphernalia. Bonds totaling $70,000.00. Bonds set by Circuit Judge Howell.
Brittany Ann Battles was arrested charged with Loitering in a Drug House.
Bond set at $300.00.”
