MADISON COUNTY-Madison County Sheriff’s Office detectives have arrested two individuals following an investigation into a shooting on Monroe Road in Meridianville.
On October 7, 2026, deputies responded to the 200 block of Monroe Road after reports of a shooting. Four people, including two juveniles, had been shot. Two victims were transported to the hospital by ambulance, while the other two were taken in personal vehicles. All four received treatment at the hospital.
Major Crimes and Crime Scene Detectives responded and began an investigation. Detectives determined that two large groups, made up mostly of teenagers, had gathered on Monroe Road to fight. During the altercation, two individuals produced firearms and fired shots, striking four people.
Andrea Alexander, 18, was arrested and charged with two counts of Assault in the First Degree. A second juvenile was also arrested and charged with two counts of Assault in the First Degree. The juvenile’s identity is not being released.
The investigation is ongoing.
