Mary Louise Nelms, 71, died Friday, October 23, 2015 at Decatur General Hospital with her family by her side. Mary was born January 28, 1944 in Lawrence County to Earnest and Myrtle French. She was a retired employee of West Morgan High School.
Mary is survived by her husband, Lee Walter Nelms; two children, Tammy (Neal) Graham of Huntsville and David (Pam) Nelms of Somerville; four grandchildren, Chasity Hill, Heather (David) Crabtree, Elizabeth Hill and Devin Nelms; one great-grandson; and her brothers, Leon (Mary) French and James French.
A Celebration of Life will be Monday, October 26, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Pilkington officiating. A gathering of friends will be Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Caddo Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Neal Graham, David Crabtree, Michael French, Anthony French, John French and Jordan Claxton.
