Mary Louise Stanford 86, of Tuscumbia passed away Thursday, September 17, 2015. Visitation will be 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm Friday, Sept. 18, 2015 at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia, AL. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm Friday at the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Tuscumbia Oakwood Cemetery. Rev. Rudy Guess will officiate.
Mary was a retired clerk with the Colbert County Health Department. She was a lifelong member of The First United Methodist Church Tuscumbia, serving in many capacities over the years. She was also a member of the Muscle Shoals District Service League.
She was preceded in death by her husband Howard Stanford, Sr.; her daughter Beth Stanford Mobley, and her parents Orville and Mary Lou Beasley.
Survivors are her daughter Terry Marmann (Fred); her son Stan Stanford (Lisa); grandchildren: Charley Marmann, Kyle Marmann (Elizabeth), Hart Sherrill (Colten), Ashley Williams( Roger), Shelby Stanford (Will Logue); great-grandchildren: Kayla King, Molly, Channing and Curry Marmann, Brandon and Justin Williams.
Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
