July 31st Car Crash Victim Dies From Injuries

KILLEN-A single-vehicle crash at 2:20 p.m. Friday, July 31, has claimed the life of a Killen woman. Desha Michelle Boggan, 40, was seriously injured when the 2002 Mitsubishi Montero Sport in which she was a passenger left the roadway and struck a tree.

Boggan was transported to Huntsville Hospital, where she died Sunday, August 2.

The vehicle’s driver, Stephen Alan Inman, 37, of Killen was not injured. The crash occurred on Lauderdale County 36, four miles north of Killen.

Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
