Marshall Mills Church, 84, of Meridianville, passed away Tuesday. Mr. Church was the Athletic Director for the City of Huntsville from 1967 through 1992. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alice Mills Church and Calvin “Dick” Church; and his twin brother, Osceola Brooks Church.
Survivors include his wife, Naomi “Tacki” Church; sons, Jeffery Marshall Church (Lisa), and Lance Jason Church (Amy); grandchildren, Amber Church Harry (Patrick), Heather Church Richardson (Brian), Dalton Marshall Church, Jordan Cameron Church, and Josh Johnson (Elizabeth); step-grandson, Zack Brown Wilson; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 noon Saturday at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at noon in the chapel with the Rev. Al Geise officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
