Funeral for James Gary Moran, 73, of Moulton, will be Thursday, July 23, 2015, at 11 a.m. at New Antioch Church of Christ in Hillsboro, with Bill Becker officiating and Lawrence Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The body will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service.
Mr. Moran died Monday, July 20, 2015, at his residence. He was born November 16, 1941, in Lawrence County to Clyde Moran and Verda Eady Moran. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard and retired from 3-M where he worked in Maintenance. His parents preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Toyo Arakaki Moran; one daughter, Mercedes Moran Cantrell, of Moulton; one son, Michael Jeffreys, of Moulton; one sister, Norma Hughes; and one brother, Wayne Moran.
