Bobbie Grace Jones – Obituary

Bobbie Grace Jones, 76, died Tuesday, March 17, 2015, at the North Mississippi Medical Center hospice unit. She was born June 25, 1938, to Thomas Jessie and Leatha Crouse Watts. She was a seamstress for Whiteside Draperies and was a waitress for many years. She enjoyed sewing, photography, and working crossword puzzles.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, March 20, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with the Rev. Terry Garrett officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Masonic Cemetery.

Survivors include two sons, Thomas Scott Mears (Judy) of Zion, IL, and Timothy Allen Mears (Syndee) of Round Lake, IL; two daughters, Charlotte Mason of Fulton and Norma Wallette of Katy, TX; one brother, Clayton Watts (Louise) of Mexa, AZ; three sisters, Louise Cromeans and Quinnie Johnson (Earnest), both of Ryan’s Well and Shirley Dayenian (Paul) of Tupelo; 12 grandchildren, James (Dawn), Jeremy, Nicholas, and Matthew Mason; Nathan (Robyn) and Curtis (Alison) Densmore; Karissa and Blake Mears; Jake and Cassandra Tasker; Megan Leigh (Robbie) Hart; and Michelle Lynn Mears; five great-grandchildren, James L. Mason, Jr., Kirestlyn and Jochelyn Mason, Logan Densmore, and Cole Brian Hart.

She was preceded in death by the father of her children, Bobby Joe Mears; her parents; three brothers, Thomas, Leroy, and Edward Watts; two sisters, Billie Pharr and Betty South; and two grandsons, Jonathan Lee Mears and Daniel Aaron Mears.

Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p. m. Thursday, March 19, at the funeral home.
