Patrick Jean Martinson, 71, of Huntsville, passed away Saturday. Mr. Martinson was a 1962 graduate of Huntsville High School where he excelled in football. He was a 20 year veteran of the Huntsville Fire Department, and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Jane Martinson; daughter, Rebecca Martinson Cross and husband, Richard, of Owens Cross Roads; sons, John Berryhill of Huntsville, William “Bill” Martinson and wife, Jennifer Lee Hearn, also of Huntsville, and Andrew Patrick Martinson and wife, Kasey, of New Market; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Maple Hill Cemetery with the Rev. James Harrell officiating.
