Willie Ruth Adams Stults, 88, died Wednesday, January 28, 2015, at Countrywood Manor Assisted Living in Mantachie. She was born April 26, 1926, in Griffin, GA, to Leonard C. and Esther Lee Evans Adams. She was a former member of Central Baptist Church in Warner Robins, GA. She graduated from Spalding County High School and was recruited along with six other girls to work for Robins AFB Georgia in June 1943. She later worked for Dr. F.B. Meserve. She enjoyed traveling, shopping, and eating out. She enjoyed her family and friends. She moved to Countrywood Manor Assisted Living in October 2009. Her most recent, favorite things to do were playing bingo and participating in the various activities while there. She had many good friends and loyal caregivers.
Services will be at 2:30 p. m. Sunday, February 1, at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Warner Robins, GA. Burial will follow at Magnolia Park Cemetery in Warner Robins. McNeece-Morris Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
Survivors include her children, Marcia Bunch (Paul) of Mantachie, MS; Esther Gardner of Hoover, AL; and Scott Parmentier of Warner Robins, GA; five grandchildren, Michael Bunch (Cristal), Ben Bunch (Megan), and Cody Bunch (Katie) of Mantachie, MS; John Gardner of Hoover, AL, and Alischia Taylor (Jeff) of Bullard, TX; three great-grandchildren, Dylan Taylor and Brooklyn Taylor of Bullard, TX, and Ryan Taylor of Nellis AFB, NV.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Robert E. Stults, in 1994.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
Visitation will be from noon until service time Sunday at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home.
