COLBERT COUNTY-The annual “Plantation Christmas” will be held at historic Belle Mont Mansion in Tuscumbia, on Sunday, December 7, 2014, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m., on Cook Lane, from US Hwy 43 S.
Bus transportation for public provided from Cook Lane up driveway, to and from Belle Mont.
Event will feature period Christmas decorations, docents, ladies and gentlemen in period attire, musicians, costumed dancers, and delectable finger food refreshments with hot apple cider.
Special family collectibles will be on display. Belle Mont was the home of Isaac and Catherine Winston.
Admission charged. Sponsored by the Colbert County Historical Landmarks Foundation, the Colbert County Tourism & Convention Bureau, and the Alabama Historical Commission.
