Edward Walton McIntyre, 77, of Florence, died Wednesday Nov. 5, 2014, at ECM Hospital. Visitation will begin at noon on Saturday at Greenview Funeral Home followed by the service at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Wayne Wood will officiate. Burial will be in Canaan Cemetery.
He was born in the Oakland community to the Late Homer and Eula McIntyre and was a retired machinist.
Preceding him in death, besides his parents, was a sister, Corneia McIntyre Simms.
He is survived by his wife, Daisy McIntyre; children, Gregory McIntyre and Pamela Hill; grandchildren, Ricky Wayne Hill Jr., Christopher Hamm, Gregory Dillon McIntyre, Trace McIntyre, Savannah Rose McIntyre, and Chelsea Hill; great-grandchildren, Kaylie Hill and Hudson Hill; siblings, Ray McIntyre (Betty), Martha McIntyre Orick, Ellen McIntyre Reynolds, Jerry McIntyre (Elaine), and Julie McIntyre Hazelrig (Sam).
Pallbearers will be his “Rug Rats,” Ricky Wayne Hill Jr., Christopher Hamm, Dillon McIntyre, Trace McIntyre, Savannah Rose McIntyre, Chelsea Hill, Kaylie Hill; and special friend, Michael Tank.
