Jimmy C. Raper, 58, of Florence passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2014 at Huntsville Hospital. Visitation will be from12 to 2 p.m. on Tuesday at Elkins Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Tim Long officiating. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Park
Survivors include his mother, Florene Raper; brother, Johnny Raper (Dixie); and niece, Shanna Vandiver.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clifford Raper.
