Martha Marie Niedergeses Webb, age 89, passed away September 21, 2014.
Mrs. Webb was a lifelong resident of Lawrence County. She was a devoted wife and mother of six children. She was lifetime parishioner of Lawrenceburg Sacred Heart Catholic Church, where she attended Sacred Heart School and enjoyed singing in the choir as a young child. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, liked cross stitch and needlepoint, playing cards, and working crossword puzzles. She was a bookkeeper for Niedergeses Brothers for many years and also worked with Lawrence County Meals on Wheels.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Webb, and her father and mother, Frank and Cecilia Niedergeses, along with her four brothers James, John, Edward, and Frank.
Survivors include her sisters Roberta Vernon of Lawrenceburg, TN and Louise Fleeman of Lawrenceburg, TN, her children Pat (Mary) Webb of Soquel, CA, Donnie (Darlene) Webb of Lewisburg, TN, Kenneth (Christy) Webb of Nashville, TN, Cecelia Fox of Lawrenceburg, TN, Chris (Kate) Webb of Lawrenceburg, TN, John (Juliette) Webb of Nashville, TN, nine grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Sacred Heart School, Sacred Heart Church, or the Alzheimer’s Organization (www.alz.org).
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at Neal Funeral Home with rosary service at 7:30 PM. Funeral mass will be conducted at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Lawrenceburg at 10:30 AM Wednesday, September 24, 2014, with Father Joseph Mundakal officiating. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, TN.
