Sam Franks, Jr., age 47 of Tuscumbia, died Wednesday, July 9, 2014.Visitation will be Saturday, 6-8 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Cherokee.His funeral service will be Sunday at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Morris Kennedy officiating. Burial will follow in Harris Chapel Cemetery. Mr. Franks was preceded in death by his son, Braden Franks and his parents, Sam and Martha Thorne Franks. He was the owner and operator of Sam’s Recovery. He was known as “Sam the Repo Man”. He was a loving husband and great father, uncle and brother-in-law, and will be truly missed. He is survived by his wife of eighteen years, Michelle Franks, son, Devan Franks and brother, Matt Franks and wife Melissa. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
