Buford L. “Dock” Jester, age 87, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Tuesday, July 01, 2014 at Lewis County Nursing and Rehab in Hohenwald, TN. He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired from the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department, retired farmer and horse trainer, owner and operator of Jester Stables, and a member of Mars Hill Baptist Church. Mr. Jester was also a member of the Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders and Exhibitors Association.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Newton Cicero and Ella Mae Huffman Jester; and his wife, Edith Berryhill Jester.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. Graveside services and interment will be conducted at Mars Hill Cemetery at 11:00 AM Thursday, July 03, 2014, with Chad Moore officiating. Family suggests memorials be made to Mars Hill Cemetery.
