Funeral services for Mr. Fructuoso Alanis, 68 of Decatur, Alabama will be 10:00 am, Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at Reynolds Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Father Carlos officiating and inhumation will follow in Decatur City Cemetery.
Public Viewing will be Monday from 2:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
On Friday, May 9, 2014, he departed this life at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born to the late Honorio Alanis and Maria De Jesus Cano on January 21, 1946 in Mexico. He moved to Decatur, Alabama in 1996 and worked for many years until he became disabled. He was a member of The Annunciation of the Lord Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Honorio Alanis and Maria De Jesus Cano; siblings, Prajedis Alanis, Sixto Alanis, Fidel Alanis, Jermino Alanis, Luis Alanis.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving and devoted wife, Maria Alanis Chavez of Decatur; one son, Roberto (Belia) Alanis: four grandchildren, Omar, Ivan, Christan and Yasmin Alanis all of Decatur; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Pallbearers will be relatives and friends.
