Funeral for Betty Jo Clark, 76, of Hillsboro will be Thursday, May 8, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Family Baptist Church with Dr. Dennis Terry officiating and Parkway Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. at the church.
Mrs. Clark, who died Sunday, May 4, 2014, at Decatur Morgan Hospital, was born April 30, 1938, in Lawrence County to George Burks and Vernie Letson Burks. She was a member of Family Baptist Church. Her parents preceded her in death.
Survivors included her husband, J.W. Clark; three sons, Jeff Clark, Pat Clark and Greg Clark; two daughters, Gloria Clark Reed and Holly Clark; six grandchildren, Miranda Reed, Tyler Reed, Samantha Clark, Jodah Clark, J.D. Clark and Jaylen Clark; one brother, J.D. Burks; and three sisters, Melba Way, Martha Johnson and Rhonda Lovett.
Pallbearers will be Jodah Clark, Jaylen Clark, Tyler Reed, Delane Lowery, Joseph Lowery and Ricky Cross.
