Deborah Mae Patterson, age 53, of Tuscumbia, passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2014. Visitation will be Friday, April 25, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home. The funeral will be Saturday, April 26, at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at Greenhill Cemetery. Ms. Patterson loved volunteer work with both Girl and Boy Scouts. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Faulkner University with a Paralegal and Criminal Justice degree. She lived all over the country but loved Lauderdale County. Ms. Patterson is survived by her children: Bambi Sebelski (Drew), Jason Richard, Crystal Thigpen (Aron), Brandy Patterson, and Jeremy Richard; brothers, Dennis Patterson (Kim), and William “Billy” Cameron; sister, Joyce Taylor (Lesley); grandchildren, Tristen, Joanna and Ethan Sebelski, Sophie Richard, and Gage and Anne-Marie Thigpen. She was preceded in death by mother and stepfather, Janet and William Cameron, father Thomas Patterson and sister Sandra Stevenson. Ms. Patterson wanted to say a special thank you to Dr. Wampler whom she loved and respected and who took special care of her.
