MORGAN COUNTY-After several months arrests have been made in a drug investigation involving several law enforcement agencies. Here is how Morgan County Sheriff Ana Franklin described events leading up to the arrest of 28:

MORGAN COUNTY-After several months arrests have been made in a drug investigation involving several law enforcement agencies. Here is how Morgan County Sheriff Ana Franklin described events leading up to the arrest of 28:“After a several month-long investigation involving multiple agencies, including the Morgan County Drug Task Force, Morgan County Sheriff’s Office, the District Attorney’s Office, Alabama Beverage Control Unit, State of Alabama Drug Unit, Hartselle Police, Decatur Police, Department and Federal Agencies, multiple suspects have been arrested on charges which include the Unlawful distribution of Narcotics.
During this investigation, persons suspected of distribution, manufacturing and sales of drugs were targeted. The majority of the individuals have been arrested, but there are still some wanted persons with active warrants. the wanted persons are listed in the attachment and efforts will continue to be made to locate these suspects and bring them into custody.
These individuals remain known to the authorities, based on information gathered during this investigation. This investigation focused on all types of criminal narcotic activity with a major focus on the Unlawful Distribution and Sales of prescription Drugs.
